For good reason Sölden is named as the "Hotspot of the Alps". Firstly, Sölden is known as a skiing resort. The varied skiing area lets the hearts of all skiers and snowboarders beat faster. Winter holiday in Sölden

The Sölden ski area is worldwide known. Due to the glacier ski areas (Rettenbach- and Tiefenbach Glacier) the winter season already starts in October. On the snow-covered mountains you surely find your own line to ski, snowboard, freeride or for your ski-tour. With the new Super Skipass you can also explore the other skiing areas in the Ötztal. From the purchase of a 3-day ski pass the card is valid in all Ötztal skiing areas.
In the evening legendary parties are taking place in the village centre. Regular events with famous artists and DJs attract the younger audience to Sölden. 
Away from the slopes you get to know the calm facets of Sölden when snowshoe hiking, cross-country skiing, tobogganing or ice skating.
 

Active in summer

The combination of exercise and relaxation makes your summer holiday in the Ötztal special. From spring to autumn lovely hiking paths, mountain lakes and quaint mountain huts are waiting for you. More action is guaranteed in the Bike Republic Sölden. There, mountain bike and downhill fans have plenty to enjoy. A wide-ranging network of different bike paths and trails leads you over Söldens mountains, or further out of the valley to the other villages of the Ötztal. You can rent the right equipment in the sport shops at the village centre.
Find rest when walking along the nature paths in the woods or when swimming in the baths or lakes of the valley.
